Sidetracked is a small, LA-based operation — when you email us, a real person reads it and answers, usually within a day or two.
Wrong time, dead link, canceled show, a bar that closed — tell us the event name and what's off. Every listing is curated and verified by a human, so fixes land fast. If something we listed wasted your night, we genuinely want to know.
First try the classics: force-quit the app and reopen it, and check the App Store for an update. Still broken? Email us what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead — your iPhone model helps too.
Right in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your login, profile, saved plans, preferences, Guide memories, direct conversations involving your account, group messages you authored and files owned by your account. Accounts whose uploads are used in the shared event catalog may need support to finish; the app explains this before removing data. If deletion is interrupted, some data may already be removed; retry to finish or email us for help. Previously collected analytics, diagnostics, backups and AI-provider data may follow separate retention policies; see our privacy policy. Prefer not to open the app? Email us to request deletion.
If you bought tickets through Sidetracked, account deletion removes their connection to your login. We retain purchaser contact details, attendee names, payment and refund references, ticket and receipt records, and transaction audit history for fulfillment, refunds, disputes and accounting. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund tickets. Existing emailed ticket links keep their original expiry.
You can report any message in the app, and reports come straight to us. For anything urgent or uncomfortable, email works too — those get read first.
The short, honest version of what we collect (and don't) lives in our Privacy Policy. Requests about your data — a copy, a deletion, a question — go to the same address above.
If you run a venue, throw shows, or host a weekly night in LA, email us the details. Listings are free — we just have to verify they're real.
